Un m\u00e9dico cirujano uruguayo que esta madrugaba hab\u00eda salido a nado desde Colonia, con intenci\u00f3n de cruzar el R\u00edo de La Plata, falleci\u00f3 a 1500 metros de llegar a Punta Lara, informaron fuentes oficiales.<\/h3>\n

Se trata de Gonzalo Leal<\/strong>, de 55 a\u00f1os, quien inici\u00f3 la traves\u00eda este jueves a las 4.33 junto a su hijo, su m\u00e9dico personal, un guardavidas y un timonel.<\/h3>\n

La v\u00edctima era oriundo de la ciudad de Salto y en sus redes sociales se presentaba como \u201csalte\u00f1o, capell\u00e1n, padre, esposo, m\u00e9dico cirujano, presidente de Salto Nuevo FC y (del) Movimiento Naranja\u201d, que lideraba en su ciudad.<\/h3>\n

\u201cHola, les cuento que voy a hacer el intento de cruzar el R\u00edo de la Plata nadando. La ventana es del 1 al 10 de febrero. Estoy esperando que me habiliten seg\u00fan tiempo, marea y permiso de Prefectura. Gracias a todos lo que han ayudado a que me pueda sacar las ganas\u201d, hab\u00eda posteado hace cuatro d\u00edas en su Facebook.<\/h3>\n

Leal ingres\u00f3 sin vida al Hospital Municipal de Punta Lara este jueves. Seg\u00fan las fuentes, fue luego de haber iniciado el nado desde Uruguay hacia las costas argentinas, a la altura del mirador N\u00e9stor Kirchner. All\u00ed lo esperaba personal de Prefectura Naval y la familia.<\/h3>\n

\u201cSe hab\u00eda realizado los estudios m\u00e9dicos correspondientes antes de comenzar el cruce y aclar\u00f3 que no presentaba ning\u00fan problema de salud y estaba en condiciones de realizar el desaf\u00edo de nadar 40 kil\u00f3metros desde Colonia\u201d, explicaron las fuentes consultadas por este medio.<\/h3>\n

Lo cierto es que, a unos 1500 metros, de su llegada Leal comenz\u00f3 hacer movimientos err\u00e1ticos. \u201cPor lo que procedieron de inmediato a retirarlo del agua\u201d, comentaron las fuentes del caso y agregaron que \u201clo subieron a la embarcaci\u00f3n de asistencia y observaron que no ten\u00eda signos vitales\u201d.<\/h3>\n

En ese contexto, se le practicaron maniobras de RCP hasta que lograron llevarlo a la orilla argentina. Una vez en tierra, fue trasladado hasta el hospital de Punta Lara, donde se constat\u00f3 el fallecimiento.<\/h3>\n

La causa, en principio, qued\u00f3 en manos del fiscal Juan Cruz Concom\u00ed Alcorta, quien dispuso que personal de Prefectura inicie actuaciones por \u201caveriguaci\u00f3n de causales de muerte\u201d y le dio intervenci\u00f3n al Juzgado Federal en turno.<\/h3>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
