Huallpa Copa Jhasmani<\/strong> comenz\u00f3 a ser juzgado este lunes por un tribunal del Colegio de Jueces de la ciudad de San Luis, acusado de atropellar con su Volkswagen Sur\u00e1n y provocarle la muerte a una mujer que caminaba junto a su hija por la senda peatonal de la Ruta N\u00b0 3 V\u00eda del Peregrino.<\/h3>\n

El hecho ocurri\u00f3 el 19 de enero de 2023, a las 22:30 horas, a la altura de los postes 47 y 48 de la autov\u00eda, cerca de la Maternidad Teresita Baigorria. La v\u00edctima se llamaba Ana Mar\u00eda Yacanto<\/strong>, ten\u00eda 38 a\u00f1os y era oficial de Polic\u00eda.<\/h3>\n

Ese d\u00eda, el imputado de 37 a\u00f1os y sus acompa\u00f1antes volv\u00edan de un cumplea\u00f1os familiar en el que hab\u00edan estado desde las 13 horas. Seg\u00fan testigos, el conductor hac\u00eda zigzag por la ruta. La mujer caminaba del lado oeste junto a su hija de 5 a\u00f1os al momento del impacto. La v\u00edctima fue embestida y arrastrada contra un \u00e1rbol, lo que le ocasion\u00f3 heridas m\u00faltiples de gravedad, las que causaron su posterior fallecimiento.<\/h3>\n

De acuerdo al informe forense, Yacanto muri\u00f3 por una gran p\u00e9rdida de sangre en el abdomen debido a lesiones en el h\u00edgado. El control de alcoholemia arroj\u00f3 que Copa ten\u00eda 2,72 gramos de alcohol en sangre y un an\u00e1lisis de laboratorio que se le practic\u00f3 al otro d\u00eda confirm\u00f3 rastros de tetrahidrocannabinol, el principal constituyente psicoactivo de la marihuana. Las pericias indicaron que el veh\u00edculo viajaba a 72 kil\u00f3metros por hora.<\/h3>\n

Por este hecho, la fiscal de instrucci\u00f3n Mar\u00eda del Valle Dur\u00e1n lo imput\u00f3 por homicidio simple con dolo eventual y solicit\u00f3 una pena de 10 a\u00f1os de prisi\u00f3n. De acuerdo al cronograma fijado, el debate continuar\u00e1 ma\u00f1ana desde las 9 horas y el mi\u00e9rcoles se realizar\u00e1n los alegatos y la posterior lectura del veredicto.<\/h3>\n

El tribunal a cargo de dirigir el debate oral est\u00e1 integrado por Adriana Lucero Alfonso, en la presidencia, Hugo Saa Petrino y Fernando Julio De Viana, como vocales. Como fiscal act\u00faa Virginia Palacios mientras que el imputado es representado por Juan Manuel Mercau. Por la querella participan Carolina Rodr\u00edguez Paez y Maldonado Paone.<\/h3>\n
