La primavera financiera que empuja los \u00edndices de aceptaci\u00f3n de Milei tiene un lado oscuro: el consumo sigue hundido. Las grandes empresas de consumo masivo esperan alcanzar el nivel de ventas de los a\u00f1os 2022 y 2023 “reci\u00e9n dentro de dos o tres a\u00f1os”, reconoci\u00f3 a LPO un empresario.<\/h3>\n

Un trabajo confirma ese pron\u00f3stico pesimista: Seg\u00fan el \u00faltimo relevamiento de la consultora Scentia, en octubre la ca\u00edda del consumo fue superior al 20% interanual.<\/h3>\n

Todas las categor\u00edas de productos mostraron bajas abruptas. Lo peor se vio en el rubro que esta consultora califica como impulsivos que cay\u00f3 29,1%, seguido por higiene y cosm\u00e9tica 25,8%, bebidas con alcohol 22,3%, bebidas sin alcohol 17,1%, desayunos y meriendas 19,3%, limpieza de ropa y hogar 18,2%, perecederos 17,2% y alimentaci\u00f3n 17,1%.<\/h3>\n

Los empresarios reconocen en la intimidad que necesitan que se recupere el poder adquisitivo del salario.\u00a0 Desde la llegada de Javier Milei<\/strong> al gobierno, es decir, desde fines de 2023 hasta octubre de 2024, el salario m\u00ednimo, vital y m\u00f3vil se redujo un 28,4% en t\u00e9rminos reales. Esto representa una disminuci\u00f3n de casi un tercio respecto al final del a\u00f1o pasado y de alrededor de la mitad si se lo compara con el final de 2015, seg\u00fan el \u00faltimo informe del Centro de Investigaci\u00f3n y Formaci\u00f3n de la Rep\u00fablica Argentina (CIFRA).<\/h3>\n

“El retroceso hist\u00f3rico es tan grande que el valor real del salario m\u00ednimo ya es inferior al vigente durante la mayor parte de la d\u00e9cada de 1990 y en la crisis final del r\u00e9gimen de Convertibilidad, cuando esa pol\u00edtica se hab\u00eda abandonado como herramienta para determinar pisos salariales e impulsar una menor desigualdad salarial” se\u00f1ala el informe de CIFRA.<\/h3>\n

El panorama es sombr\u00edo. La comparaci\u00f3n del salario m\u00ednimo con las l\u00edneas de pobreza y de indigencia revela una situaci\u00f3n peor que la del a\u00f1o 2001. “El salari\u00f3 m\u00ednimo en octubre s\u00f3lo alcanza para adquirir el 54,3% de la canasta b\u00e1sica de alimentos que define la l\u00ednea de indigencia para una familia tipo y poco m\u00e1s de una cuarta parte de la canasta de pobreza”, agrega el trabajo.<\/h3>\n

Pero no es un proceso que se pueda adjudicar exclusivamente a Milei. CIFRA marca la sistem\u00e1tica p\u00e9rdida del poder adquisitivo desde 2015 a esta parte. “Si no hubiese tenido lugar la p\u00e9rdida de poder de compra del salario m\u00ednimo sucedida desde fines de 2015 a la fecha, en el pasado mes de octubre este salario hubiera sido superior a 590.000 pesos y hubiese representado m\u00e1s del 143% sobre la canasta b\u00e1sica alimentaria”, indica el informe.<\/h3>\n

Un proceso que desde que asumi\u00f3 Milei se acentu\u00f3. La ca\u00edda del consumo es tan pronunciada que quedaron fijos en hipermercados los descuentos del 25% sin tope de reintegro, mientras que el sector de comercios mayoristas lanzaron especiales de remate de mercader\u00eda a precio bajo para ver la posibilidad de recortar p\u00e9rdidas.<\/h3>\n
