El conflicto dentro del Poder Judicial alcanz\u00f3 un nuevo nivel de tensi\u00f3n luego de que el juez Alfredo Cuello<\/strong> emitiera un dur\u00edsimo pronunciamiento contra su colega, el juez Santiago Ortiz<\/strong>, quien intent\u00f3 apartarse de una causa de corrupci\u00f3n que involucra a la exdiputada Anabela Lucero<\/strong>, su pareja el diputado Joaqu\u00edn Beltr\u00e1n<\/strong> y otros implicados.<\/h3>\n

Ortiz hab\u00eda solicitado su recusaci\u00f3n argumentando posibles conflictos de intereses, pero Cuello rechaz\u00f3 de plano esa petici\u00f3n con t\u00e9rminos severos. En su resoluci\u00f3n, lo acus\u00f3 de actuar de manera “mendaz y escapista”, se\u00f1alando que su intenci\u00f3n no era otra que eludir la responsabilidad de llevar adelante el proceso.<\/h3>\n

Con un tono categ\u00f3rico, Cuello desestim\u00f3 los fundamentos presentados por Ortiz, afirmando que no exist\u00edan razones jur\u00eddicas v\u00e1lidas para que se apartara del caso. Adem\u00e1s, advirti\u00f3 que aceptar este tipo de maniobras sentar\u00eda un peligroso precedente, permitiendo que los magistrados elijan qu\u00e9 expedientes tramitar seg\u00fan sus conveniencias.<\/h3>\n

El juez no escatim\u00f3 en cr\u00edticas, asegurando que Ortiz demostraba “desconocimiento del derecho” y que su actitud reflejaba una falta de compromiso con la funci\u00f3n judicial. En una frase que reson\u00f3 con fuerza en \u00e1mbitos judiciales, le espet\u00f3 directamente: \u201cP\u00f3nete los pantalones largos\u201d, inst\u00e1ndolo a asumir su deber sin evasivas.<\/h3>\n

Ahora, el Tribunal de Impugnaci\u00f3n deber\u00e1 analizar la situaci\u00f3n y definir los pr\u00f3ximos pasos en una causa que no solo compromete a figuras pol\u00edticas, sino que tambi\u00e9n pone en evidencia las fracturas internas dentro del propio sistema judicial.<\/h3>\n
